Nope. This isn't a review of the new sitcom from Ryan Murphy, it's a post about how "getting by" can actually be the New Wealthy. Sounds impossible, doesn't it? Well, it isn't. It's all about perspective. Now, if your perspective tells you that you cannot possibly survive on less than six-figures, then you might be at the wrong Blogger site. For those of us who worried through this financial roller coaster that Wall Street has taken us on (and will continue to), I'm going to try to deprogram you.

I did it. Today. I deactivated my Facebook account. Gasp! I know, right? Right now it feels pretty damn good to not have to deal with how many "friends" I do or don't have. And who do we have to thank for my awakening? A stupid commercial by Toyota for their Venza wagon.

I have decided to put into words what I have been fantasizing about for over 2 years. It's not some "get/be rich/happy quick/slow" technique. There is nothing to buy (quite the opposite actually). This is the post about how I plan to escape the "work full-time until age 67" plan that our materialistic society would have me do. If you "get it" then let me know. Your ideas and feedback are welcome! If this all sounds like a great amount of work just to underachieve then you are on the wrong blog my friend.
